For our 2019 holiday we enjoyed a trip to Trieste, a cosmopolitan and multi-cultural city in the far North East of Italy. In the company of our excellent guide Danica, we enjoyed the impressive architecure dating from the time when Trieste was part of the Austro Hungarian empire as well as some really impressive relics from the Roman era.
