THE MILLE MIGLIA ROAD RACE
Dave Holder SAIS President
This illustrated talk will be looking at the history of this very Italian race described by Enzo Ferrari as ‘the most beautiful motor race in the world’.
The Mille Miglia ran on 24 occasions between 1927 and 1957 from Brescia to Rome and back (except for one race!). We will give an insight into the people behind it, the cars, the drivers and will look at what is probably the most famous running of the race, which was won by a 25 year old Englishman
Non-members are welcome: £3.00
